The Charitable Trust manages two restricted funds:
LE Sutton Award – an annual award to a graduate or surveyor to undertake a research project associated with real estate and the built environment. A new partnership has been formed with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership (part of Cambridge University) to provide a scholarship for a Master of Studies in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment. We are delighted to announce two scholarships have been awarded for 2020.
Sydney Smith Award – an annual award is available to any surveying undergraduate who is suffering financial hardship. Contact has been made with all of the principal cognate Universities making the award available.
The Trust also makes a regular donation to the Lord Mayor’s appeal and provides support in the form of prizes and donations to our military affiliates from the armed services and the Sea Cadets – see the Military Affiliates page.
