Chartered Surveyors accept the Lord Mayor’s Abseil Challenge

Not only are Chartered Surveyors involved in the development of tall buildings in the City of London, they are also not afraid to abseil down them!

On Friday 7 June, the Master, accompanied by Liverymen David Jinks, Alison McDonald and Colin Peacock abseiled down the 225m (750 feet) Cheese Grater building in Leadenhall Street to support the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, and raise money for the nominated charities.

The Lord and Lady Mayoress had led the way and members of 16 other Livery Companies, together with a host of City businesses followed suit.

The Lord Mayor’s Appeal is this year supporting 3 charities: MQ Mental Health Research, Homewards (preventing and ending homelessness), and National Numeracy – please see attached information about these charities.
